1st Grade
Please select ONE of the books to read. Each student will need to create a “Book in a Bag.” After he/she reads the book, the student will find 4 or 5 things to put in a bag that reminds him or her of the story. On the front of the bag write the title and author of the book and draw something if he/she wants to (not required).
On the 2nd and 3rd day of school next year, each student will bring his or her bag to school, tell about the things in the bag, and how it reminds him or her of the book they read. This will be a test grade in reading for him or her.
