The Sparta Academy Deer Hunt, established in 2003, is our school’s largest fundraiser and plays a vital role in sustaining our private school. The funds raised support the purchase of educational materials for teachers and students, as well as the daily operations of the school. This event is made possible through the generous support of parents and landowners who donate their time, resources, and land to ensure its success.

Registration letters are mailed out in September. The hunt is the typically the 2nd weekend in January.

Cost is $1000 per hunter and includes 4 hunts (2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday), dinner on Thursday and Friday nights, lunch on Friday and Saturday as well as a cap, knife and a goodie bag of snacks. A guest may accompany you (guest cost: $250) but only one gun is allowed per stand.
